Some people out there are probably thinking but I can already rocket jump,
good it’s very useful isn’t it, but this tip has 2 parts to it,
telling people how to rocket jump and then using it in combo with teleports.
Basic rocket jump
Basically look down fire a rocket and jump at the same time
this should propel you threw the air at a fair height and if you do this while bunny hopping you should get a nice speed boost as well.
Teleports and Rocket Jumps
I’m not sure how many people know this but a lot of Painkiller players I know didn’t seem to know about this
if you rocket jump right before you enter a teleport you keep all your upward momentum and speed this is good if there is a set of stairs of some where up above where the teleporter comes out.
E.g. Dm_Phsyco
The teleport in the main room that puts you out by the stairs with the mega health on top rocket jump just as you enter it and you should be able to swing around (using Pk insane air control) and land up and grab the mega health
if you continue to bunny hop from this you should be traveling pretty fast. (I get about 25 on the speedmeter*)
Practice Makes Perfect
There are plenty of these teleporter jumps in many of the maps, you just have to find them.
