That's right, the demo is finally coming out. Dreamcatchers say it'll be released on the 14th of July at 10:00 EST time.

Offering up 137 MB of multiplayer mayhem, the demo contains all of the fixes and add-ons from the 1.3 update as well as additional multiplayer features, such as spectator mode, demanded by competitive players. The demo supports play over LAN and the internet for up to 16 players and includes a dedicated Demo server and Gamespy Arcade support.
The MP Demo will feature 2 maps from the retail version (DM_ cursed & DM_Sacred) and 2 gameplay modes (Free For All and The Light Bearer). Gamers can choose their Hellish Hero from one of four selectable player skins.
This Demo showcases the best that Painkiller has to offer. No one will be disappointed.
